My excursion to Aqua Park

It was the first of December and was our class teacher’s birthday too. We had planned for a party on her birthday. Everyone brought a lot of eatables and decorative.  We had made everything ready for the second period so we could celebrate her birthday on the interval. When she came to the class unaware that we are going to celebrate her birthday we all sang the happy birthday song and gave gifts. The joke is we kids shared and ate the eatables. After that that, our teacher cuts the cake and distributed it. Well it was none other our beloved Haseena mam

In the third period, it was our last exam and we were very calm. Usually, we will be tensed up. After the exam, we got a circular conveying that we will be going to Aqua Park. The charge to go to Aqua Park (water theme park) was 70 riyals. We all were so glad and exulted because we were so happy. We had to bring our nylon swimming suits. As Aqua park means Water Park, obviously it is filled with water. 

On an eventful day, we bought a lot of chips, soft drinks, juice, flavoured milk, etc. Then we started our journey with the blessings of our Principal.

On that day everyone was excited waiting for the bus to reach Aqua Park. To our surprise as we reached there the gates of the park were closed as we were there ahead of time. We waited for about half an hour, by then M.E.S (Middle East education school) reached and Aqua Park opened at 9AM. We got some instructions from the manager of Aqua Park such as we are not allowed to play in the big pool and the lazy pool.

First of all, we were playing in the wave pool. The feeling in wave pool was as if we were standing in the middle of the sea. We used to push our friends in the water. I dived into the water and also pushed my cousin into the water. There were many rides including to rush into colourful tubes followed by spinning and swirling in the air and finally landing in the water. In one ride we will have to pay some extra 35 riyals to participate in that ride and the participant should be bigger than 140 cm. I didn’t have 35 riyals to buy that ticket but another person gave it to me. When I went on that ride, at first I was thrown into the air and then I would be crashing in the water spinning like a tornado.  As we moved forward we were thrown up in the air again and landed back in the water. Then we went to a fountain and reached the end.

We also went on the dark ride. The water was rushing in torrents and I was so scared. For a moment I thought that I will die. After that, we went to another ride where we will have to lie down after we get in the tube.  My friends all went without any fear but I was very much tensed up. At last my moment to try this adventure, I got in the side and prayed to God and soon successfully I reached the nadir of the ride. At last, after lots of fun, our teachers started calling the girls for changing the dress, a agree on ladies first.  After that, we went and changed our dress too.

The events of the day were so interesting and we enjoyed it. We ate the food and went back to school.
