Excursion to heaven
There are 4 monkeys in our family, one of them is obviously
me and the rest you will come to know as you read. We were getting slightly
bored, so we kept on persisting to go to Kappad beach in Calicut but the
response was always negative. There will be some or the other reason like the
arrival of guests at the nick of that time or our Rinith uncle’s
construction activities will ensure that the sun sets and it will be very
late to venture outside. Finally one day, the moment materialized, our
parents agreed to go to Mananjara park. We were not aware of the merry and
excitement awaiting us.
We beautified ourselves and started our quest. The amazing
culture of our place was very much obvious. Many people were in traditional
“Mundu”. When we reached there we felt like we are in heaven but because of the
parking problem in town, we got a bit annoyed. After that boring car parking,
we were heading towards an awesome heaven fun ride.As we stepped inside we felt
like we were babies roaming around. We ran in the lush green grass spread
across a huge area perhaps twice the size of a football field and enjoyed to
the core. We loved each of the beautiful moments. My father was taking
photos and videos of these valuable time for our future records. We were roaming
around Mananjara park like foreigners. Usually, foreigners take photos of every
area they visit.
No sooner we noticed a tree lying down uprooted we climbed
on it. We started moving further toward the creepy branches. I and my cousin
sister Venus were a slightly scared. Whereas, my brave cousin brother Tejas
reached the extremely fragile branch without fear. Then my brave sister Janvi
also climbed the precariously weak branch. Tejas was a bit naughty and he
started jumping up and down while on the branch enjoying the swing. As expected
he slipped and landed on his private part, also the branch broke and fell down.
Luckily Tejas was still laughing at the top of his voice. Even that was
captured by my dad, Poor Tejas! Then we continued our journey and saw a
fearsome lion which was handcrafted beautifully. We took some pictures with the
super photographer, my dad.
We saw an extra large tree with a huge trunk which was
slightly inclined that helped to make an adventurous climb as far as we could
get and each one of us got slightly hurt, except my sister who climbed more
than anyone else. We then exited the heavenly place and the poor vendors were
selling salted groundnuts. Which my great mom bought and we all ate it
satisfying our hunger for the time being. We stopped as we drove back home at
Paragon to buy wheat Paratha. One security man came and told us that if we
park here we might have to pay fine when the cops come for inspection, hence we
parked in proper parking space. We had to wait for thirty minutes before we
continued with the balance of our return journey. As we reached East hill
we requested for ice cream which was readily granted and the boys took mango
bar and girls chocolate. We also bought juice and came back home at
9PM. Now here I am writing this great extraordinary adventure to heaven with
you.
